Meet our team

  • Dr. Cisler
    Dr. Laurel Cisler

Dr. Cisler joined the team at Old Troy Pike Veterinary Clinic in 2012, and became a co-owner in 2015. One of her favorite things about the clinic is that the staff feels like family and we have a close relationship with many of our clients as well. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are feline medicine and ophthalmology, and she has taken a recent interest in creating personalized plans to help overweight pets lose weight and live healthier lives! She has four cats - Dash, Ursula, Max and Pearl. They are all rescues and keep her on her toes. Dr. Cisler received her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Marietta College in 2006. From there she attended THE Ohio State University for veterinary school and graduated in 2010. In her spare time she is a beekeeper and an amateur seamstress - check out her Etsy shop where she offers handmade accessories and toys for cats and dogs at www.jasminesattic.etsy.com.

  • Tracey
    Tracey Swartz

Tracey joined the staff of Old Troy Pike Veterinary Clinic in 1976 when she was in 7th grade and started as an after school volunteer. She considers herself lucky to find a life's calling at such a young age. What appeals to Tracey the most about her job is helping people and their pets. She considers it to be an honor and a privilege to be able to care for people's furkids. Her days at the clinic are full of puppy and kitten kisses, but there are also tears when the staff helps a pet take its final journey. During Tracey's free time she enjoys gardening, reading, connecting with family on a thread and hanging with her furkids Milile and Hobo. They are rescue kitties and keep her life full of snuggles and laughter. Tracey says she feels blessed to work with very talented and loving staff members. They are like family who always have each others' backs in good times and bad. Tracey sees her life as a choice of the road less traveled, and she looks back and knows she wouldn't change a thing.
